Belvedere Bringing Life to Mullingar LIFE festival line up will be announced on www.life-festival.com early in 2011.

 

The award winning LIFE festival will be staged at Belvedere House Gardens and Park over the June Bank Holiday weekend in 2011.

PLEASE NOTE THAT BELVEDERE OPENING HOURS TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC DURING THE LIFE FESTIVAL (3TH 4th AND 5th JUNE 2010) will be 9.30am until 4pm.

What makes Life Festival different to big headline festivals ?

 

I think it might be because it's an independent festival made "by the people / for the people". It is something fresh with an strong identity, providing as much fun and services as possible in a logo free environment, where the individuals can express themselves for 3 days of peace, love, unity, respect and of course quality music from experienced and new talented artists.

We have to say that everything happens for a reason, and we are extremely happy having found Belvedere House in Mullingar. .The layout of the well maintained grounds creates such a magnificent parkland, the shores of Lough Ennell , and the walk through the trees that leads to some magical hidden areas. Belvedere House is absolutely perfect to host an event like Life Festival.

What people can look forward to at the festival

Life is music, visual and traditional arts, workshops and performances through a camping based three day weekend of celebration, partying and respect for the environment and each other.

Any awards nominations festival has received in the past.

Life Festival 2009 was nominated for Best Small Festival of Europe ( ending in the Top10) and also won the best Dance Festival of Ireland for  the second year in a row in 2010.

Demographics will fall primarily at the 25-40+ age range, with pre-event marketing focusing also on college attendees.

These are friendly and amenable Internet-savvy, educated young adults; trendsetters with a love of new music, new arts, new sports, clothes and credit cards. Most of them will buy tickets in advance online; they make up the major consumer block.
