The House

Belvedere House was built in 1740 by German -born Architect Richard Castle (1690-1751), as a hunting and fishing lodge for Lord Belfield - Robert Rochfort - who later becamethe First Earl of Belvedere.

The Parklands

Belvdere's Parkland and Gardens are full of life at this time of the year, with flowers blooming all around the gardens. The cherry and magnolia blossom are a delight to see.
