Bee Keeping Expert Clive De Bruyn to visit Belvedere House

One of the foremost world experts on Beekeeping has included Belvedere House on his Spring Tour of Ireland.

One of the foremost world experts on Beekeeping has included Belvedere House on his Spring Tour of Ireland. Clive de Bruyn of Tiptree, Essex, U.K. who has kept bees for the past 30 years, was the County Beekeeping Instructor for Essex for fifteen years and is a prominent member of the Bee Farmers Association, is delivering a series of lectures in Ireland during February.

Jim Donohoe from the Belvedere Bee Breeders association is very excited about the visit. “Clive de Bruyn is the author of the beekeepers bible “ Practical Beekeeping” and this is a wonderful occasion for Midland Beekeepers to host him at Belvedere” said Jim Donohoe.

Whilst at Belvedere House Clive de Bruyn will also officially launch the Belvedere House Self-Sufficiency Show coming up on the weekend of the 16th and 17th April 2011.

The first lecture begins at 11.30am and is entitled “ The Importance of Nucs” and is followed at 2pm by “Maintaining Healthy Colonies, Problems and associated solutions”
